Previous Meeting: Thursday, March 19th, 2009 Meeting: Billy Cunningham, photographer for Architectural Digest1. Guest speaker Billy Cunningham Billy Cunningham, photographer for Architectural Digest and instructor at the International Center for Photography, will speakabout his current and past work, including his experience working with Richard Avedon for two years. He'll also participate in our group critique session, so if you are interested in his feedback bring your work! You can find a sample of Billy's own work at http://www.billycunninghamphotography.com/ 2. Summer Show Committee Formation If you're interested in helping out with publicity, hanging or curation, be sure and come to the meeting or email me to volunteer. We'll be forming those committees! We will also answer any questions you have about preparing for the show. 3. Sharing and critique Whether you're a member or a visitor, bring something to share. Find out what others see in your work, what people like best, and how you can improve. If you bring prints, print 'em big -- 8x10 is OK but 13x19 is better! -- so everyone can see! If you'd rather share electronic images, you can do that too. We'll have a projector and laptop at the meeting so you can show 'em off big and bright. (See Tips for Sharing and Critique.) See you all on the 19th!
