Previous Meeting: Thursday, July 16th, 2009 Meeting: Guest speaker: Allen Murabayashi of Photoshelter.com1. Allen Murabayashi of Photoshelter.com presents "Click, Tweet, Repeat: Why Taking Good Photos Isn't Enough to Succeed Anymore" Paul Sunday, an accomplished fashion photographer based in Brooklyn, will show the group his work and talk about his approach to the art and business of fashion photography. Come join Allen Murabayashi, the founder and CEO of Photoshelter.com, for a discussion about online sales and marketing for photography. Murabayashi is an accomplished photographer, internet entrepreneur, and active member of the photography community. Topics to be addressed include how to identify a market for your work, and how to connect with that market via your website and social media. 2. Sharing and critique Whether you're a member or a visitor, bring something to share. Find out what others see in your work, what people like best, and how you can improve. If you bring prints, print 'em big -- 8x10 is OK but 13x19 is better! -- so everyone can see! If you'd rather share electronic images, you can do that too. We'll have a projector and laptop at the meeting so you can show 'em off big and bright. (See Tips for Sharing and Critique.)
