Previous Meeting: Thursday, November 19th, 2009 Meeting: A Sharing SessionFor our November meeting, We'll have another sharing session. But this one has a twist: We invite you to do a small photography project and share it with the club. Here's the project: Find an object that's bigger than a breadbox but smaller than a house. Study that object, and take 20 unique photos it. Then bring your 20 photos to the club, and share them in the order you took them. Don't worry about producing 20 polished final images. Some of your images will work, and some may not... and that's OK. In this project, it's really true that "it's the thought that counts". Why do this? Through sharing your 20 images in order, we will all really be sharing the process by which we are thinking about how to photograph our chosen object creatively. Hopefully seeing others' creative minds at work will help you look at your own photography projects from a new perspective. Whether you're a member or a visitor, a professional or an occasional snapshooter with a simple point-and-shoot camera, give this project a try and bring something to share! If you bring prints, print 'em big -- 8x10 is OK but 13x19 is better! -- so everyone can see! If you'd rather share electronic images, you can do that too. We'll have a projector and laptop at the meeting so you can show 'em off big and bright. If you bring electronic images, please follow these guidelines to make sure they look their best!
