Previous Meeting: Thursday, March 18th, 2010 Meeting: Color Management 1011. Color Management 101, or "Why don't my prints look like what's on my monitor?" Have you ever been disappointed when you had a photo that looked great on your computer screen, but not in print? Was the print dull and lifeless? Or too dark? Or too light? Or too yellow or blue or green or red? This month I'd like to share some insights on how color management can ease these frustrations. Whether you are an amateur just using photoshop to touch up your vacation snapshots or a pro who wants to work more efficiently, this presentation will help! You'll learn:
2. Sharing and critique Whether you're a member or a visitor, bring something to share. Find out what others see in your work, what people like best, and how you can improve. If you bring prints, print 'em big -- 8x10 is OK but 13x19 is better! -- so everyone can see! If you'd rather share electronic images, you can do that too. We'll have a projector and laptop at the meeting so you can show 'em off big and bright. (See Tips for Sharing and Critique.) See you all on the 18th!
