Allison Drew Klein
Biography
Born in Brooklyn, raised in Rockland County, resided in Cape Cod, Ft. Lauderdale, Southern Calif, Lake Tahoe and then returned to sanity in Manhattan. Work experiences include: lifeguarding to waitressing to parking valet to croupier to non-profit lobbyist to sales representative in good ol' corporate America. Allison is an amateur photographer primarily self-taught and has studied photography at the Pratt Institute. This is her second show with the Center Photo Club. She was nominated for "Best Emerging Artist" at GLAAD's OUTAuction NYC 2008 but didn't win. Particular photographic interests include ocean landscapes, architecture, civil rights activism and street scenes.

Artist's Statement
I look forward to the day when I can retire (with health benefits) in order to concentrate on photography, music, political activism, sports and playing with my nieces and nephews.
