Steven Maloff was born in Los Angeles, and California is the subject of his work. Steven also studied photography at the International Center of Photography and holds a Master's degree in journalism from New York University. He has written many articles about popular culture and is a regular contributor to Interview, Women's Wear Daily, and Mademoiselle. He lives in Tribeca.

Artist's Statement
For "As We See It," Steven contributed "Untitled Apartment Complex Studies," photographs of apartment building exteriors in West Hollywood. He studies artificial lighting, iconic shapes, and nature.
