Photographer: Steven Rosen Biography
Steven Rosen is an award-winning portrait, travel, theater, and event photographer. His work has been featured in a variety of media, including travel and photography books, magazines, newspapers, annual reports, web sites, calendars and on the Kodak Jumbotron in Times Square.
He is available for individual, couple, and family portraits, as well as to cover events, weddings, and performances. His extensive library of images is available for fine art prints or to license. Artist's Statement
I have been documenting nightlife in New York City over the last few years by setting up a "photo booth" and taking formal portraits. It's been quite a journey, as vintage costume events have lead to leather bars, drag events, goth events, and fetish events. What they all have in common is the desire for people to break out of the daily world and express their inner selves. It's a privilege to share in their moments of fabulousness.
