Artist's Statement
For years, I have been traveling to Coney Island to take photographs of people and places. I've always been drawn to the otherworldly ambiance there. This photo, "Tattooed Man and the Fat Lady at Coney Island," is very representative of the creative talent that is attracted to places like the Sideshow. I was very proud when this image won an award from the Santa Fe Center of Visual Arts.
