Biography
Primarily a sculptor Don Ventura is a native New Yorker. He developed an interest in photography about 15 years ago at which time he took several courses at ICP. He first exhibited his photography at the Salmagundi Club, here in New York, and has exhibited there several times since. He became a member in 2007. He is also a Life Member at the Art Students' League.

Artist's Statement
My sculpture as well as my photography reflects my interest in capturing my feelings about the human form. Although sculpture is my primary interest, I also enjoy photography because it allows me to express moods and feelings difficult to capture in sculpture. My favorite shooting locations are Central Park and Manhattan.
